The founding of our company A+R Profile Steel GmbH took place on April 1st, but we never wanted it to be understood as a joke. More than 10 years, characterized by proud and steady development, have sustainably underpinned this.

In 2007, Stefan Allgeier and Michael Rösch decided to become self-employed in the sale of steel products. After thorough preparation, the first contracts were signed, and the first A+R iron was delivered starting from April 1, 2007.

Initially, still in the basement of Stefan Allgeier’s residential house converted into an office, our steel company grew quickly and steadily, so after just under two years and now with five employees, the first move to an office building in Achern was completed.

Just over two and a half years later, we moved again and occupied a historic building in the city center of Achern, previously renovated to meet the requirements of a modern office. A+R as a company is still young, especially when compared to other long-established steel trading companies, but of course, our employees have not been dealing with steel only since 2007. Long-term market knowledge distinguishes us.
